Time has finally run out for MOUZ, with several roster changes altering their lineups until the end of the season.
Jimi “Jimpphat” Salo and Ludvig “Brollan” Brolin will make way for academy talent Adam “xelex” Vincze and NAVI loanee Justinas “jL” Lekavicius at upcoming CS2 events.
However, Brollan will return to MOUZ’s roster for IEM Cologne, due to Valve limiting the number of changes teams can make to their lineups after qualifying for the Major.
Can these changes finally move the needle for MOUZ?

The first new addition to MOUZ’s roster is a call-up from MOUZ NXT, the org’s academy team, xelex. The 17-year-old rifler joined MOUZ NXT at the beginning of 2025 and has been playing very well in tier two or tier three events over his tenure.
Funnily enough, PGL Astana 2026 won’t be xelex’s first rodeo on MOUZ’s main team. The Hungarian was the team’s stand-in at IEM Katowice 2025, after Kamil “siuhy” Szkaradek departed the roster shortly before the event.
Despite xelex obviously being a talented player, his addition to the team didn’t help MOUZ to a good result in Katowice, with the Hamburg-based team dropping out in dead last.
While his performance at IEM Katowice was nothing to shout about, he was thrown in the deep end from the jump. This time around, xelex will be much better prepared to make the transition into tier 1 Counter-Strike as smooth as possible.

Rounding out MOUZ’s new roster is a former Major MVP, jL. The Lithuanian has two key qualities that MOUZ have lacked in recent years – charisma and a winner’s mentality.
After all, what made jL one of the best CS2 players in 2024 was his consistency in big moments. He came alive in the playoffs with high-impact multikills and late-round clutches.
MOUZ could be the perfect place for jL to get back into the swing of things, get used to being back on the server, and return to his best form in the red jersey.
It’s unfortunate that Brollan will be taking his place at the Major, but Valve’s rules allowed only for a single roster change after qualifying. Plus, jL is registered as NAVI’s substitute anyway.

One of the things going under the radar amidst MOUZ’s roster overhaul is the change in leadership. With Brollan’s departure from the roster, Dorian “xertioN” Berman will take up the in-game leading duties.
Much like Brollan, this will be xertioN’s first venture into in-game leadership, which means it could take some time before MOUZ look as polished a team as their fans would want them to be.
Historically, xertioN has been one of MOUZ’s best performers, securing entries and acquiring map control with his aggressive moves. While that playstyle lends itself to IGLing, his output may go down considerably, which would be bad news.
His underperformance in the first half of this year coincided with MOUZ’s downturn in results. Lack of firepower within their aggressive pieces could be a problem for this revamped iteration of MOUZ.

As a result of MOUZ’s roster overhaul, two solid young players have become relatively available. It would be a massive surprise if either Brollan or Jimpphat didn’t have a team at the start of next season.
The hottest commodity in the off-season will obviously be Jimpphat. There aren’t many, if any, experienced 19-year-old star anchors on the market. Probably half of the top 10 best CS2 teams will be fighting for Jimi’s signature.
Brollan’s situation is a bit more complicated. He has been an IGL for almost a year and a half, but it’s unclear whether he’d like to continue being one on his next team.
Additionally, Brollan will not be available right away, as he’s still to play for MOUZ at IEM Cologne.
The most likely destinations for Jimpphat are probably NAVI and Falcons, if they are to make some changes, while Brollan could be a decent fit for FaZe Clan, who are lacking an IGL at the moment.
