Selection criteria:- Most contested Picks/Bans.

• Tier-S: ≥ 40% contest rate
• Tier-A: ≥ 30% & < 40% contest rate
• Tier-B: ≥ 20% & < 30% contest rate
• Tier-C: ≥ 10% & <20% contest rate
• Tier-D: ≥ 5% & <10% contest rate
• Tier-E: < 5% contest rate

Most Successful Heroes

Selection criteria:-

• Top 5 heroes with the highest win-rate.
• Minimum 10 games played.

As you can see in the graph above, heroes with the highest win-rate are Enigma, Kunkka, Necrophos, Razor and Keeper of the Light (Kotl).

All of them have one thing in common; they are all situational picks. To be more precise, they are picked under specific situations that can outright disrupt the mechanics in a team-fight.

For example, Enigma’s Blackhole or Kotl’s Will-O-Wisp ultimate’s, which are extremely disruptive in nature and can shut down the enemy ranks completely.

Least Successful Heroes

Selection criteria:-

• Top 5 heroes with the lowest win-rate.
• Minimum 10 games played.

Only two heroes stand-out from this list, i.e., The Spirit brothers; Storm and Earth. Both of them have fallen off the wedge regardless of being two of the most picked heroes.

The former can be a dangerous opponent to go up against as it scales well into the late game whilst the latter is always used as a position 4 and helps set up ganks.

The rest are situational picks albeit in absence of other trending or preferred heroes.
