Momosuzu Nene gets new model, here’s what it looks like

Momosuzu Nene new model

Hololive’s Momosuzu Nene has debuted a new model and fans are already rushing to praise the vtuber’s fresh look.

Momosuzu Nene debuted as part of Hololive’s fifth generation and quickly became a fan favorite because of her affectionate personality. Her way of showing affection and a running gag is referring to all fans, regardless of gender, as her “husbands.” With her engaging personality and content, the vtuber has built a sizeable fanbase.

In July 2024, the vtuber unexpectedly announced an indefinite hiatus from streaming. This caused fans to worry for her, but the vtuber later explained why she had left when she returned in November 2024. Now she’s back to streaming, though with a new visual change. On January 25, Momosuzu Nene announced that she would debut a new model.

On January 31, the vtuber Momosuzu Nene returned to her traditional roots by debuting her new model in a live stream on YouTube.

Many fans had guessed from Momosuzu Nene’s tweet that her new outfit would feature Chinese aesthetics similar to her original model, and those fans were proved right. The vtuber’s new model appears to be heavily influenced by the first model she used when she started her career.

Momosuzu Nene began the stream by going over predictions fans had made about how her new model would look. She expressed her delight at the various guesses viewers made and shared on social media. These ranged from a maid outfit to something eerily similar to her mascot carrot.

Soon after, viewers saw what they had tuned in for as the vtuber displayed a traditional Chinese Hanfu outfit. The model has two distinct outfits, both highly influenced by traditional Chinese aesthetics. The first is a pink gown with flowers layered across it and shades of orange contrasting it. The pink ribbons on the streamer’s hair and neck seal the deal, cementing it as a festive and colorful look.

Momosuzu Nene also showed a different outfit for this model that, instead of having bright and popping colors, is largely in navy blue. Being darker than the other outfit, this look retains the long sleeves that hide her hands and arms and features a removable hat. What’s more, the streamer’s model can also show off her long hair or allow her to tie it in twin buns according to her preference.
