In light of the world cup, Modern Warfare introduces three new football operators for players to purchase, including Neymar, Lionel Messi, and Paul Pogba. These specific football players, now operators, are some of the most world-class footballers around.
Although it might feel slightly strange to murder our favorite football players, they release between the 25th of November and the 29th of November. Thankfully, the operators will be available in all modes: Warzone, Multiplayer, and DMZ!
As great as the football operator packs are, they do come at quite a downfall. The price of having Neymar or Messi in Modern Warfare is quite surprising, especially when you see what comes with each footballer in their operator packs.
The following footballers will be dropping into Modern Warfare with us:
To purchase a single operator, you must head over to the COD store within the Modern Warfare application, buy: 1600 COD points ($20), find and select the football player you desire, and purchase the operator pack.
Each individual operator pack comes with a series of additions. You will receive a football operator skin, a personalized finishing move, two weapon blueprints, vehicle skin, a weapon charm, a weapon sticker, and finally, an emblem.
Unfortunately, the prices are somewhat excessive. It would’ve been much more appropriate to sell each football star for $10 instead of $20 or have a separate deal where players can purchase all three operators’ skins for a lower price with no additions. Surely, players aren’t buying these operator packs for the emblems?
