With the LEC group stage finally complete, the teams that performed best have advanced to the playoffs. There are only three spots available for the 2025 World Championship, and every team left is vying for them. While MKOI won the previous LEC split, Fnatic’s sudden improvement raises the question of which team is more likely to win here.
Betting tip: While MKOI is the underdog going into the match, it may be a good idea to side with it considering the team’s better teamwork and strategizing.
My MKOI vs Fnatic pick: MKOI wins map five at 2.02 odds at GG.BET.
Movistar KOI’s recent gameplay has been relatively shaky. While the team won the previous LEC split, it failed to impress in the two international tournaments it participated in. A large part of MKOI’s unreliability is its jungler Elyoya, who sometimes doesn’t make his presence known across the map. Fortunately, with Supa’s ADC skills and Czajek being an excellent support player, there’s a good chance MKOI can get a close win against Fnatic.
Fnatic swapped its former midlaner Humanoid with Poby, and that has seemingly been working for the team. However, it has yet to win against any of the region’s best team since the move. Fnatic recently battled G2 Esports but lost without winning a single game, and it wouldn’t be far-fetched to say that G2’s playing style and in-game skills are very similar to MKOI’s.
Fnatic has a more consistent jungler than does MKOI, which means it may get the first dragon. KOI is likely to do everything else better, including getting first blood and winning the first game. Those looking for a higher potential payout may also want to bet on the total maps being over 4.5, considering both teams are fairly close in skill and the match is likely to be extremely close.

Movistar KOI has been more consistent and has given every team in the LEC split a run for its money. While Fnatic has improved relative to last split, the modified roster still has some settling in to do and hasn’t overcome any proper obstacle. There’s a good chance that these two teams will go the distance to a fifth game, but MKOI will ultimately walk away with the win and move on to the upper bracket final.
Our MKOI vs Fnatic prediction: MKOI as the match winner 3-2 @ 2.02 odds at GG.BET.
