The last day of the group stage of VALORANT Champions has finally concluded. The hype for the tournament has been quite hit and miss in the previous few days. While some matches were thrilling, some were major one-sided affairs. On day 10 of VALORANT Champions 2025, both T1 and RRQ are eliminated from the tournament. With MIBR and G2 Esports securing the final two spots of the VALORANT Champions 2025 playoffs phase. Let’s take a look at what went down during the final matches of the group stage of VALORANT Champions 2025.
In the first match of the day, we got to see a rematch between T1 and G2 Esports. The last time these two teams faced off was during the grand finals of VALORANT Masters Bangkok 2025. During that match, T1 defeated G2 Esports in a 5-match thriller. That match was the closest G2 Esports came to winning an international VALORANT tournament. Following that event, G2 Esports went on to win both VCT Americas Stage One and Two this season, completing the three-peat. T1 failed to qualify for VALORANT Masters Toronto.
In the rematch between the two teams, it was a one-sided affair as G2 Esports shut down T1 completely. It did look like G2 Esports came into the match out for revenge for Bangkok. They demolished T1 in a 2-0 clean sweep. The only player with a positive KDA from T1 was iZu. G2 Esport Ace duelist jawgemo ended the game with 11 first bloods to his name.

This match could have been just called the Aspas demolition derby. MIBR won both maps with a scoreline of 13-5. Aspas ended the game with a K:D difference of +22 and 7 first bloods to his name. No player in RRQ had a positive KDA. Aspas proved that he isn’t going to give up on the chance of winning his second VALORANT Champions trophy.
With these final qualifications, all eight teams in the playoffs stage of VALORANT Champions 2025 have been confirmed. Below is a list of them:
Both VCT EMEA and Americas have three teams from their region that have made it to the playoffs. At the same time, there are two teams from VCT Pacific and none from VCT CN. With the defending champions EDward Gaming, eliminated from the event, a new team will become the champion of VALORANT Champions 2025. Only time will tell if the absence of CN teams might also affect the viewership of the tournament.
