Metastack, a new CS2 tool created for teams and casual players, has officially gone live on Tuesday, September 30. The tool, created by former HEROIC strategic coach Mihajlo “Feed” Petrović and endorsed by Counter-Strike creator Minh “Gooseman” Le, has the potential to simplify the lives of every coach from now on.
In an exclusive interview with Jaxon.gg, Feed revealed that the idea to create Metastack stemmed from a problem he faced during his years as a Counter-Strike coach. By taking matters into his own hands, the Serbian can not only solve his problems as a coach and educator, but also help other coaches, professional players, and even casuals.
You can find the interview below and learn more about Metastack now that the developers have officially released the tool and made it free to use during its open beta. Metastack has also released a demonstration of the product on YouTube.
Jaxon: One of our readers said they didn’t quite understand what Metastack offers. Can you explain the tool in detail and talk about the product’s features?
Metastack is an esports workspace platform for Counter-Strike. It allows players to efficiently create and organize their own game knowledge, and to quickly discover and import new tactical content from a massive content library, all within a single unified place.
Jaxon: In the announcement, it was mentioned that some teams are already using Metastack. Could you name the biggest ones, or tell how many are using Metastack already?
Yeah, definitely. Some of the notable teams that had early access to Metastack are: Astralis, 3DMAX, Partizan, Metizport, Falcons Academy, and several others.
Jaxon: How can Metastack help the average player, not someone who wants to go pro, to be better at CS2?
Metastack is fully optimized for the Steam browser, so all players can use it in-game, where they need it the most. So they can quickly find any nade, play or an idea during freezetime, see exactly how to throw that Nade or do that play, and it gives them an incredibly easy to use tactical advantage over their opponents.

Jaxon: Do you have a product roadmap to share? Like, where do the dev team go from here, what do you plan to add, how will you build traction, etc.
What I can share right now is that we want to make the best possible operating system for Counter-Strike 2 teams, and a main education hub for all players. There are many complimentary tools that we have planned, and that players already requested from us to build for them. So I’m really looking forward to the future!
Jaxon: When and how did you come up with the idea of creating Metastack? Did this idea occur to you after you coached several teams?
I came up with an idea for Metastack over 2 years ago in order to solve my own problem, and the problem of my teams. In several teams, everyone had the same issues – multiple disconnected tools are used to manage and organize our in-game knowledge. Discovering new things you need quickly was impossible, so I thought that there had to be a better way.
Additionally, Jaxon.gg spoke to Gooseman last week, September 23. If you want to know how Gooseman went on to become an advisor to Metastack, you can read the article here.
