


With the hype for Marvel Rivals growing at a rapid rate in 2025, it was only a matter of time until we got to hear more about the upcoming season. In a post on their socials, Marvel Games announced the theme and new heroes that players will be able to see in Marvel Rivals Season 4. To provide the community with more information, a video titled “Marvel Rivals: Season 4: Heart of Dragon // Dev Vision Vol. 09” was released on the MR YouTube channel. Within Marvel Rivals, one season is defined as the time period within the game cycle. Each Marvel Rivals season lasts for around 14 weeks, with a mid-season patch (e.g, Season 3.5) occurring just before the second half of the season. Within this season the game makes significant changes to the gameplay as well as add new features in the game. Season 4 of Marvel Rivals is slated to go live on September 12 worldwide.
The first hero to be introduced in the YouTube video is Angela. She is known as the one-winged angel of Asgard. She will be in the Vanguard class of heroes. Her skills will be more focused on being a tank.

The second hero that was showcased during the trailer was Daredevil. Many recognize this Marvel hero from his incredible show and movie appearances. Currently, it is being reported that Daredevil will release in Marvel Rivals during Season 4.5. Fans can expect him to be avaliable in the game in the month of October.
A new map called Heart of the Heaven for the convergence game mode was announced as well. This map will be available to play from September 25th. One significant addition this season will be to Arcade mode in Marvel Rivals. Previous limited-time game modes like Clone Rumble and Giant Size Brain Blast mode will be returning permanently in Season 4.
Two new game modes, called Free Fight and Conquest, will be added to Arcade mode as well. Within this, players will have no restrictions on selecting duplicate heroes, i.e., two players in one team can both pick a hero like Doctor Strange. Within the Conquest game mode, players will need to rack up points by securing KOs.
One significant addition to Marvel Rivals is the new favorites bar.
Noticing that a significant fan base of Marvel Rivals are college-going students, the game has launched a College perk feature. Students can log into season 4 and verify their student verification now to obtain 10 costumes and MVP animations on trial.
New team-up abilities have been added in Season 4 of the game.
Recently, Marvel Rivals announced the Wasteland Skin for Peni Parker to a majorly positive fan reception.
