What’s Resource Rumble Game Mode

Since the game’s launch, there have been new game modes released within the game. Some of these game modes have been temporary, while some have been permanent.

Marvel Rivals launched worldwide back in December 2024. Since then, the game has been one of the most played games in the world. Although the player base has declined since its peak, the game maintains a steady active player base of over 100,000 daily. To appreciate their fan base, Marvel Rivals releases multiple free cosmetics and new game modes. These game modes are often added to prevent the game from becoming too fatiguing.

The upcoming game mode, Resource Rumble, is one of a kind in Marvel Rivals. Here’s the rundown:

Within this game mode, three random mission areas can be unlocked.
At the start of the game, two limited resource areas are unlocked on the map.
Teams will need to face off to obtain various resources.
Once a hijack area is unlocked, the rumble begins.
Players can raid their enemies and even steal their resources during this time.
The team that gathers the most resources will win the match.
Once a team secures a resource area, it will start obtaining a certain amount of resources.
After all the resources are depleted, players can head to the next resource zone.
Finally, teams will face off in the Hijack zone.

Within the Hijack zone, the team that has captured it will start stealing resources from the other team. Once a team amasses all the resources for themselves, they will win the game.

The Resource Rumble game mode will be available from August 22 on Marvel Rivals. The game mode will first be available only on Quick Play. After a specific duration of time, the Resource Rumble will be available in Marvel Rivals ranked as well.
