In a post on their social media platforms, Marvel Rivals had also announced that Daredevil would be released in season 4.5. With the recent news from Rivals, here is everything we know so far about the upcoming hero Daredevil in Marvel Rivals.
Daredevil is known within Marvel Comics as Matt Murdock. In the comics, Matt Murdock is a blind lawyer who at night fights as a vigilante. The hero was first showcased in the Season 4 launch trailer alongside Angela. Angela was released on launch day of Season 4 in Marvel Rivals. On their social media posts, Marvel Rivals has released information about the new hero. He will be available in the game from October 10th, following the launch of Season 4.5.
He will be a Duelist hero in the game. According to the lore of the game, Daredevil absorbs demonic powers after defeating The Beast. After defeating him, he is guided by the dragon Yinglong and transforms the Eighth City into a sanctuary. Following this, he earns the title Dizang. Daredevil has been voiced by Aleks Le, known for his anime and animation movie dubbing. He’s also voiced Luke in Street Fighter V and more recently Sonon Kusakabe in Final Fantasy VII Rebirth.
Within the official launch trailer of the hero, we can see that the hero can see through walls to detect enemies. Instead of the entire outline, we can read circular lines that outline the enemies. The reason for this is that Daredevil is blind. He uses the technique of echolocation to locate his enemies. This technique was detailed in the 2011 Daredevil issue 16.
