Since the launch of Marvel Rivals, there have been multiple skins released in the game. There have also been skins that are themed on movies that Marvel has previously released in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. With the upcoming Marvel Rivals update going live soon, Marvel Rivals has announced a plethora of cosmetics available within the game. These include theAncient Powers Awaken skins and the Extrembiote Armor Iron Man skin.
Since its release in December 2024, Marvel Rivals has maintained a consistent stream of in-game content. The game has released multiple skins every week. Some of these skins are free, while most are paid. Players will need to use real-world money to obtain these skins within Marvel Rivals. The upcoming Patch Version 20250821 will go live on August 21 or 22, based on your region. Within this update, the major release is the launch of the new map Klyntar: Throne of Knull and the new game mode Resource Rumble.

Alongside this, Marvel Rivals also announced a new event called Ancient Powers Awaken. Within this, players must play matches within Marvel Rivals to obtain XP. Based on the amount of XP a player receives, the more skins they would be able to unlock. Within this event, there will be 20+ rewards that fans of Marvel Rivals can obtain. Within these rewards, there will be skins available for Heroes like Venom, Doctor Strange, and Iron Fist. If players wish to get the Ancient Powers Awaken Event Pass, it will cost them 990 Lattice. Fans who purchase the pass before September 12 will unlock it forever and progress within it at their own pace.
The Iron Man Extrembiote Armor skin will be available in the game worldwide on August 21st at 10:00 PM EDT. This skin takes reference from the Marvel Comic King in Black (2020) Issue #3. Within this Marvel Comic, Iron Man becomes one with a symbiote. After gaining all the information from the symbiote, he makes this suit.
