After the runners-up of North and South America duked it out in the Americas Cup, LYON and LOUD will complete the gauntlet. Here’s the LYON vs LOUD odds and our betting prediction for this First Stand 2026 matchup.
While everyone expects LYON to win, the Americas Cup showed that Brazil can rise to the occasion. This match is crucial for both teams, since they can’t bank on winning against Gen.G.
Betting tip: LYON are heavily favored, but nowhere near as much as the odds depict. Brazil’s third seed went 8-0 against the second and third best NA teams just a week ago. LYON are a more resilient team than the other LCS representatives, but LOUD have an actual chance.
My LYON vs LOUD pick: Over 3.5 maps at 1.51 odds at GG.BET.

LYON’s core player is their jungler. Inspired has been the best player in the LCS ever since joining the league and is now a five-time MVP. The jungler is the center piece of the communication and can drive the team to play around any of the laners.
LYON’s particular strength in the LCS and worldwide is that they focus less on objectives than any other team. Instead, they try to generate leads in other ways, with the way they handle minion waves and by going for turrets and picks. LYON aren’t afraid of giving Drakes away when most other teams would try to take even a grim-looking fight.
In the meanwhile, they use what time they save by not preparing or contesting the objective to play their game elsewhere.
LOUD, on the other hand, have a surprising story. Initially a middle of the pack team at the beginning of the split, their mid laner left the organization post a dispute after the second round of the playoffs. Envy came to replace him as an emergency sub, and LOUD then went 6-1 in their next two series.
Like many teams in Brazil, LOUD thrives in fights. The CBLOL’s main strategy to defeat the LCS in the Americas Cup was to overload one side of the map by surprise and force a fight on unsuspecting opponents.
Cloud9 and Sentinels weren’t ready for it and kept falling behind. LOUD were also far ahead of RED Canids in teamfights during the CBLOL finals.
The plus side for LOUD is that the LoL odds were similarly in NA’s favor during the Americas Cup, yet FURIA didn’t concede a single game against C9 or Sen.
LYON, on the other hand, should be much more prepared to deal with different playstyles than these two teams were, and should win through better macro alone.
| Market | Odds |

LoL betting odds via GG.Bet, 6am CET March 9th, 2026.
LYON roughly has a 75% chance of winning. The LCS representative is the reasonable bet, but LOUD’s chances are much greater than their odds. For one looking to bet on an underdog, this is an ideal match.
