LYON signs Castle from Disguised as Dhokla’s starting spot comes under pressure

Castle joins LYON in the LCS. Srtty to join Disguised

Cho “Castle” Hyeon-seong has left Disguised to join LYON in the LCS. The top laner will compete with Niship “Dhokla” Doshi for the starting role to help with the team’s worsening performances since First Stand.

This change is effective immediately, with LYON having three matches left to play in the LCS Spring Split 2026 regular season.

Castle joins LYON to compete for the top lane spot

On April 2, Kim “Berserker” Min-cheol obtained his green card and became a North America resident.

With Kacper “Inspired” Słoma having also acquired NA residency in 2023 and Jonah “Isles” Rosario counting as a resident from being Australian, that left Kang “Saint” Sung-in as the sole import for LYON.

LCS rules allow a team to have two imports starting for the team. Berserker’s green card freed up one of the two slots. Since then, fans have been wondering when LYON would move to fill it. It is now happening after the LCS had no roster changes between two splits for the first time ever.

The owner Carlos “Biblos” Gibran explained the decision on the team’s Twitter/X account. The team’s performance has dropped since First Stand, both individually and as a group, on stage and in scrims. Additionally, the team did poorly at the Esports World Cup Qualifier, dropping in Round 3 against Team Liquid.

LYON is an organization that aims for the title, the way they did in the LCS Lock-in, and they believe they currently don’t have that level. As such, Castle and Dhokla will both play in scrims. Then at the end of the week, the player who did better will play on stage.

When starting Castle, LYON doesn’t have a single native North American player. While most LCS teams have a minority of them, LYON is the only one to have none.

Castle leaves Disguised, Srtty rumored to take his spot

The last remaining member of 2025 DSG, Castle, is leaving for LYON. Based on the wording of the announcement, LYON reached out and DSG wanted him to get that opportunity to play on a high-tier team.

Jett Michael “Srtty” Joye, LYON’s top laner in 2025, is all but confirmed to replace him. On April 30, he stated that he will be playing in the last two weeks of the LCS regular season. While he didn’t specify the team, Disguised is the one with a vacant spot.

Additionally, Srtty also stated that he is filling this spot while they’re waiting for a top laner from the LCK Challenger League.
