Our semifinals match-ups for the LoL Worlds Knockout Stage are now out as well!

1. GenG vs KT Rolster (Saturday, November 1st)

Gen.G is on the way to do a full gauntlet run of the LCK teams in the LoL Worlds Knockout Stage. And we know how these go – Gen.G should have an even starker win than they did against HLE. Read our full Gen.G vs KT match preview.

2. T1 vs Top Esports (Sunday, November 2nd)

“T1 at Worlds” is happening again! And they’re facing a TES that limped into the LoL Worlds Knockout Stage. It would take a miracle for TES to win, and to reach Worlds Finals for the first time ever. Read our full T1 vs Top Esports match preview.

Our quarterfinal match-ups for the LoL Worlds Knockout Stage are out!

1. Hanwha Life Esports vs GenG (Tuesday, October 28th)

A rematch of the LCK Summer finals, this is the most decided match-up of the four. GenG should win convincingly as they have every time since the start of Spring. Read our full Gen.G vs HLE match preview.

2. KT Rolster vs CTBC Flying Oyster (Wednesday, October 29th)

The most inconsistent team, against one that fights all the time and often makes it work. KT is favored for sure, but honestly? There’s no telling what might happen at this point. Read our KT vs CFO betting tips.

3. G2 Esports vs Top Esports (Thursday, October 30th)

An uninspiring G2 against a choking TES. If TES continues in their current form, they are no match for G2, even with the relatively tame showing the LEC has had at Worlds. More insights in our G2 vs TES match preview.

4. Anyone’s Legend vs T1 (Friday, October 31st)

T1 has never failed to reach semifinals. But AL has looked amazing, and T1 really haven’t. Betting against T1 at Worlds never seems like the right play, but it might just be for once. AL vs T1 predictions made here.

Semifinals will start on the very next day, on November 1st and 2nd. Stick around, and make sure to check out our extended LoL Worlds Knockout matches previews and betting tips. Visit our LoL Worlds hub for the latest coverage.

LoL Worlds 2025 Knockout Stage Teams

Our eight quarterfinalists qualified to the LoL Worlds Knockout stage are:

  • KT Rolster (3-0): Korea’s wildcard, the most unexpected team to go 3-0 at Worlds.
  • Anyone’s Legend (3-0): The LPL’s second seed having a sudden form surge and looking much better than expected.
  • G2 Esports (3-1): Europe’s last hope, qualifying after a shaky performance, but qualifying nonetheless!
  • Hanwha Life Esports (3-1): The LCK’s second seed. Just like AL, they showed a surprisingly pristine level of play during the Swiss stage.
  • GenG (3-1): The heavy favorites heading into Worlds! But their loss to AL sparks many questions, and maybe the championship can still be contested. They are definitely still the favorites, though.
  • CTBC Flying Oyster (3-2): The LCP’s first seed and the hyped up underdogs. CFO showcases clear weaknesses but punches fearlessly nonetheless, and they are a true unknown quantity.
  • Top Esports (3-2): The LPL’s third seed. Initially looking great, they started playing terribly after the first two rounds. In the LoL Worlds Knockout stage, they’re gonna have to beat the allegations that they always crumble in high-stake international matches.
  • T1 (3-2): And last but not least, the all-time best LoL team. Coming in as the LCK’s fourth seed, having an uninspiring score, and showcasing a shaky performance, the pressure is on them to prove that their reputation can hold up one more year.
