A week and a half from the start of the League of Legends World Championship, the English broadcast talent has been announced! Let’s get through the team to familiarize you with the names you wouldn’t know.
On Oct. 2, the broadcast talent was announced. We explain how each of these will contribute below.

The play-by-play casters cast the games (so far, so good), and they’re the ones breaking down the fights and the fast moments as they take place. No matter the type of cast, each game has one play-by-play caster.
The color casters team up with the play-by-play to cast the games. They have the same job as the play-by-play ones, except that while their co-caster is commenting on a fight, they focus on taking in what happens. And as soon as the action ends, they go back over what happened while their partner catches their breath.
We can expect the World Championship to have a tri-cast through the entirety of the event, so every game will have two color casters and one play-by-play.
The color casters are also analysts on the desk in-between the games, discussing LoL Worlds predictions on how they expect the matches to go and breaking down how they went afterwards.
For the LoL Worlds 2025, these are:

Well, I don’t think that one needs explaining for anyone.
Jeesun is both an interviewer and the English-Korean translator of the LCK. Wendy, the translator of the LPL, wasn’t listed among the broadcast team, but it’s safe to assume that she will be the translator for interviews of Chinese players.
Here’s for a bit of trivia about the team, and the history of certain casters and pairings!
Europe’s iconic pairing of this era of LoL Esports, Medi-Vedi always find a way to be unhinged when casting together. Absurd jokes and puns met with a deadpan reaction, facts as correct as they are obscure and unrelated to the game, their dynamic is great. And duos with a fun alchemy are even more fun when a third caster from another region joins the chaos.
Another duo just as iconic, a staple of the LCK over many years, and everything to look forward to with Medic and Vedius applies just as well for these two.
But for the important note – this will be Chronicler’s last event as part of the League broadcast. He announced in June that he would be retiring from casting at the end of the year in order to spend more time with his friends and family.
His time as an LCK caster has already concluded off the back of a couple of beautiful series. And with Worlds now being his last event on air, he might be in line to cast the finals for a memorable send-off.
While Chronicler is doing his final appearances, Aux is here to cast his first Worlds! As a more recent addition to the LCK broadcast talent, Aux is the other color caster that Korea is sending. And this first Worlds is sure to be a solid step on the path to becoming one of the staple voices of the LCK.
CaptainFlowers always gets a unanimously positive reception for his energy and the quality of his play-by-play lines. But the reason why his inclusion is notable is because he had opted out of the recent international events in Asia due to a soy bean allergy among other concerns. And it turns out he’s now found ways to make it work again!
On a negative note, though, the English broadcast of the LPL will once again see very little representation at the World Championship. Which is not surprising as Riot has sunset the official English broadcast for that league and it is now run at the initiative of European casters. But it is a shame that the second best region will only have Hysterics as one of its specialists, with Eragon or Nymaera not being invited.
