Counter-Strike 2 has overhauled Vertigo A site, and now players need a new lineup to keep the site under control. Thankfully, a new incendiary lineup for Vertigo’s A site has emerged, and it’s easy to learn.
Valve’s recent changes to Vertigo have stirred up a storm of opinions. Some argue that the changes heavily favor the CTs while others suggest that Valve should remove the map altogether. However, it’s worth noting that Vertigo remains one of the most played maps in the pro scene and is equally popular among Faceit enthusiasts.
So, if you’re looking to level up in CS2, you should start learning grenades for Vertigo’s newly overhauled layout starting with this easy A site incendiary lineup.
This lineup is for Vertigo’s ramp where the Ts often rush up in order to take A site control. The incendiary will burn off the entire ramp area, but Ts can still rush up the scaffolding. Here’s how to set it up.
Since this lineup heavily relies on timing, make sure you only do it when you’re spawned closer to the elevator. Otherwise, you may waste the utility, or worse, get ambushed by Ts who’ve already pushed in. If you have the perfect spawn for the incendiary, you can take this setup to the next level and pair it with HE.
This grenade will land on top of enemies who have already lost a large chunk of their health to the incendiary, bringing them down to around 30 HP. Of course, this number is only achievable if you toss both utilities within the first few seconds of the round.
You may also use this lineup later in the round based on footsteps. However, the chances of enemies skipping past it are higher in that case. So, this setup is mainly viable to pause first-time pushes into A site on the buffed CT side.
