Fortnite has been come all the way back in Chapter 3 Season 2.
Zero Build is a huge reason for the resurging player base, but so is the return to consistent, weekly updates.
This week, we’re battling for Risky Reels with a reworked LMG and a new vote: Rift-to-Go vs Boogie Bomb.
Hotfix Changes:
– Light Machine Gun has been enabled
– Rocky Reels Battle has been enabled
– The IO Tank will no longer spawn at Rocky Reels
– Bots will no longer try to land at Rocky Reels— iFireMonkey (@iFireMonkey) April 26, 2022
Do you care about the battles taking place across the map? If you do, we’re fighting over Risky Reels, this week.
I don’t, so I’ll probably be staying away from the NPCs and let them figure out their beef. I don’t want to insert myself in the drama of the island.
To me, the most interesting change in v20.20 is the return of the LMG. This thing shoots like an AR, now, and fits perfectly into the Zero Build meta.
The MK and AUG will probably still get the most attention, but the new LMG is nutty. It’s been in Creative for a week or two and I’ve been shredding with it in Gun Game. I’m excited to use it on the island.

I’ve had a definitive preference for every Fortnite vote up until now. Epic finally hit us with a good one.
Boogie Bombs are fun, but Rift-to-Go’s are more practical. Both are staples of Fortnite’s cartoony style, and it won’t be the last time that we see either of these in the game.
If I had to choose, I suppose I’d want the Rift-to-Go to return. More mobility almost always equals more fun.
So, to wrap up, we have:
Have fun!
