Leaks suggest we could see Black Hole-style downtime after Season 7 event

With the last patch of Fortnite Season 7 now live, data miners are digging through to see what they can find.

So far, we’ve seen a countdown, some sounds, and some still images leaked for what the event will contain, but not too much to go off of.

The biggest piece of information we have is that the season-ending event will lead right into downtime for Season 8. That means Epic will take the servers offline – which also happened during the Black Hole event.

After this event, we will go directly into down time 😱

Of course, nothing is confirmed and this wasn’t the only time we went directly into downtime after an event.

We saw something similar happend suring Season 5 – although the downtime was much shorter than the three-day hiatus during the Black Hole.

Only time will tell….
