League of Legends streamer Drututt banned on Twitch, here’s why

Twitch has banned controversial League of Legends streamer Maks “Drututt” Przychodzień for the sixth time, and fans have been left wondering what he did and whether the ban is permanent.

Polish streamer Drututt has been actively making content on YouTube since 2015. He then started to livestream on Twitch in 2017. Drututt didn’t take livestreaming seriously at first, but that changed in 2019. He became more active about it and started to put in the work to make streaming on Twitch a significant part of his content creation. He has been playing League of Legends since season three of the game and is a very popular player.

Drututt has amassed more than 600,000 followers on Twitch and is continuing to grow. However, the streamer has faced punishments from Twitch for various offenses. Now it looks like he’s in hot water yet again, as on January 7, 2025, Drututt was banned from Twitch for the sixth time. So what exactly did he do this time, and when will he be back?

Why did Twitch ban Drututt?

Drututt claims that he received a Twitch ban for “ using aggressive language towards and banning anyone that doesn’t speak English” in his chat.

In a tweet on his X account, Drututt stated that Twitch has banned him for his behavior in his chat. The streamer explained that Twitch told him his aggressive language towards the non-English speaking viewers in his chat has been noticed. Drututt has also been banning non-English speakers in his chat, which he says came to the attention of the platform. According to the streamer, this is why he was banned from Twitch.

Viewers discussed Drututt’s Twitch ban on Reddit, and some disagreed with Drututt’s reasoning regarding his Twitch suspension. They claimed that the screenshot the streamer posted in the tweet shows that he was discriminating and using hateful language. Conversely, other viewers have stated that the screenshot was giving examples and not necessarily stating the exact reason for Drututt’s Twitch ban.

This isn’t the first time Drututt has faced the wrath of Twitch. The streamer’s channel was recently suspended in August 2024. Drututt had claimed that the reason for that ban was a “sarcastic comment.” The streamer was joking about a new emote Riot Games had previously introduced.

The streamer claimed he was banned for 14 days. However, according to StreamerBans, his Twitch channel was reinstated in 24 hours following the ban. Viewers are curious to see whether Drututt returns again soon, or if his channel is banned permanently this time.

Was Drututt permanently banned on Twitch?

Opening Drututt’s Twitch channel shows that it was temporarily suspended for violating Twitch’s Terms of Service, so the streamer shouldn’t be permanently banned and should be back once the duration of his latest suspension passes.

In his tweet, Drututt stated that he waited until morning to talk to a Twitch representative and he found out that he had banned him for 30 days. The streamer expressed his frustration at his being banned just a few days before the new LoL season begins, as that’s an important time for any streamer looking to build their audience.

The next season of LoL will start on January 9, 2025, and because Drututt is banned for 30 days he won’t be able to stream the season’s start on Twitch. Drututt has a YouTube channel that he is active on, but it’s unclear whether the steamer will stream the new season of LoL there until his Twitch channel is reinstated.
