With the release of Arcane Season 2, Riot has shown just how much it has planned to celebrate with the League Arcane content map.
Arcane is based on multiple champions from the League of Legends universe, like Vi and Caitlyn. When it originally released in November 2021, Riot went all out with several new skins and an in-game event. This year, the team has already revealed that characters from the show would become champions, and even more skins and other themed rewards would be coming. The official League account even released a content map showing the big things planned for the next month.
However, Riot has seemingly deleted the League Arcane content map. For anyone who missed out on seeing it, here’s what Riot has planned for Arcane up through December.
Stretching from patch 14.22 to 14.24, the League Arcane content map includes new skins, a new champion, a brand new event, and corresponding pass.
Patch 14.22 went live on November 6 and introduced the new Arcane ARAM mode in League of Legends that updated the Bridge of Progress. Fans also got to finally try out the newest champion, Ambessa Medarda, who is making her transition from the television screen to the game itself. She brings with her the skin line Chosen of the Wolf. Other champions getting Wolf skins include Swain and Katarina.
On November 20, players can expect to receive the first batch of Arcane skins. The official X account released the splash arts for Brawler Vi, Shimmer Lab Singed, and Commander Caitlyn. In addition, Caitlyn is getting her promised new Prestige skin. Coming to the PBE on November 11, Jayce is also purportedly getting a legendary skin. The map also mentions the start of the first batch of the event pass, though more details aren’t currently known.
Finally, on December 11, the second batch of Arcane skins as well as Jinx’s Fractured Exalted skin will close out the Arcane event updates so far. Those who have access to the League PBS can try out the new fits on November 26. Players will also see the second event pass update.
As of now, Riot has not released any information as to why the League Arcane content map is no longer available to view on X.
There are a number of reasons why a social media team may take down a graphic. For starters, it may not have been approved for release yet or possibly was meant to release on a different day. The team may have deleted the post to make edits. The next patches go live in late November and mid-December. There are plenty of potential changes the developers may intend to make that could change the posted map.
Arcane Season 2 releases the first three episodes on November 9. Fans have a lot to look forward to, both with respect to the television show and the upcoming events in the League Arcane content map.
