Both of those teams went through a rebuilding in the 2026 offseason, and neither one came out unscathed. In the LCK Cup, they finished bottom two in their group, both teams failing to reach the playoffs.
After the break for First Stand, KT and HLE came back completely rejuvenated. With more time to build the synergy within their respective new rosters, they’ve shown an entirely different face in the LCK Rounds 1-2.
