Since the first two rounds of the LCK 2025 tournament have concluded, the top six teams have moved on to the Road to MSI to potentially qualify for the international tournament. KT Rolster has seen the roughest road in the tournament so far, facing off against Dplus and NS RedForce in succession. With wins in each of those series, it’ll next face off against T1 with elimination on the line yet again.
Betting tip: T1 decimated KT Rolster the last time these two teams met, and it wouldn’t be a surprise if the same happened again here.
KT Rolster found itself in an extremely tough spot near the start of the current LCK split, though it eventually gathered its bearings and found a route into the playoff round. The team took out some powerhouse teams along the way, including second-place Hanwha Life Esports, but lost with a 0-2 score both times it battled against rival T1, largely thanks to the inconsistent top lane play of both PerfecT and substitute top laner Casting.
Bdd and deokdam are more reliable players, especially when paired with Peter’s aggressive initiating that can set up easy kills for KT’s carries. The team’s biggest issue is that its players don’t always seem to have the raw mechanical skills needed to compete against most top-ranked teams in the LCK. Cuzz is an exception, as his ganking and objective acquisition are excellent. Unfortunately for KT, Oner has showcased even better and more consistent performance from T1’s jungle position.
Speaking of Oner, his synergy with veteran mid laner Faker remains excellent, and is usually why T1 finds victory. Gumayusi has played consistently well since his issue regarding the starting bot lane position was resolved, and Keria has long been a great support. Doran remains the team’s anomaly in the top lane, but his performance sufficient in most matches.
KT Rolster’s performance in the Road to MSI playoffs thus far is likely to have many bettors wondering whether the side could produce an upset here. But T1 has repeatedly demonstrated its dominance in this match-up, and even with KT trending up, it’s hard to see that changing enough to produce a different result here.

T1 and KT Rolster have met on the big stage 28 times in the history of the Telecom War, and T1 has a 79% win rate against KT with 22 wins, while KT has only beaten T1 six times.
KT Rolster is coming off an impressive winning streak, largely thanks to its strong performance in sweeping through the first two rounds of the Road to MSI bracket.
By contrast, T1 is coming off two consecutive losses, with one of them being against the same NS RedForce squad that KT recently decimated.

T1 may have comfortably won against KT Rolster the last two times the two teams faced off against each other, but KT’s current state seems to be much improved. While T1 is still likely to come out on top thanks to its better jungling, KT likely won’t make it easy. KT’s biggest disadvantage could be the team’s most consistently impressive player, Bdd, getting shut down by the more reliable Faker.
Our KT Rolster vs T1 pick: T1 as the match winner 3-1 at 1.58 odds at GG.BET.
