Popular vtuber Kson has announced her graduation from VShojo as the agency continues to be embroiled in scandal over not paying its talents and misappropriating funds ostensibly raised for charity.
On July 22, Ironmouse shocked the streaming world by announcing her sudden graduation from VShojo. She also surprised everyone by revealing that the agency still owes her money and has stolen money from her charity streaming efforts. Other vtubers and collaborators immediately expressed their support for the demon queen, and some even came forward and disclosed their own grievances with VShojo.
Kson was one of the vtubers who offered their explicit support to Ironmouse, and she also removed any mention of VShojo from her social media handles, prompting fans to speculate that she would soon leave the agency. Just a few hours after the scandal was first brought to light, Kson officially announced that she is graduating from VShojo.
Kson explained in a stream that she was thinking about graduation even before Ironmouse exposed VShojo’s scandal, because the agency hadn’t paid her since September 2024.
In the livestream, Kson revealed that VShojo owes her a significant amount of money. The vtuber explained that the agency had the habit of being late with payment, and that this is why she gave VShojo the benefit of the doubt at the time. That didn’t prove to be the right choice, as she only faced more delays and at one point wasn’t paid for almost a year.

Kson stated she was afraid publicizing everything as it could cause her to lose more money. She went on to say that after waiting for so many months, she decided to just forget the money entirely, and the vtuber decided to graduate from VShojo by the end of July. Ironmouse’s graduation and revelation of the agency’s financials seemingly prompted Kson to graduate even earlier than planned, and she stated she’ll remain an independent vtuber moving forward.
VShojo Japan CEO Koshi Makino revealed that the agency was relying on money that belonged to its talents for its own operating costs.
Kson said that she was graduating from VShojo and that she should be paid back all of her money owed to her by VShojo. Koshi Makino claimed he wasn’t involved in the financial dealings of the US side of the agency, and that while that VShojo’s US side handled the money, the Japanese side of VShojo was going well.
The CEO asserted that everything seemed fine as money was coming in and going out, but the US side wasn’t releasing money to the JP branch. According to Makino, this is why the agency’s vtubers weren’t being paid. He went on to say that the agency’s finances looked good at one point, but that it later turned out that at least some of the money coming into the company for internal use was supposed to go to the talents.
VShojo purportedly paid talents for their streaming activities, but money from merchandise wasn’t being paid out appropriately. It appears this money was being used to keep VShojo afloat. Makino claimed it was the US side of VShojo that was embezzling funds to cover the agency’s operating cost, and said that he believes the agency will now likely be dissolved.
