Kai Cenat has beaten the record of VShojo vtuber Ironmouse in 11 days of his Mafiathon 2 and is the most subscribed Twitch streamer once again.
On September 30, 2024, VShojo’s Purto Rican vtuber Ironmouse made history by breaking the subs record of Kai Cenat. This wasn’t just a win for Ironmouse but for the whole vtuber community. Ironmouse’s feat helped put vtubers in the spotlight. While Ironmouse faced some negativity, Ludwig and Kai Cenat supported her and celebrated her win. However, Kai Cenat announced he’ll do another subathon to reclaim his lost Twitch record. Kai Cenat’s Mafiathon 2 event was announced to much fanfare with the likes of John Cena and Kim Kardashian. The Twitch subathon event started on November 1, 2024, and Kai Cenat made waves by getting massive subs just days after the event began.
On Mafiathon 2’s 11th day, Kai Cenat made history by becoming the most subscribed Twitch streamer for the second time.
The streamer Kai Cenat broke vtuber Ironmouse’s Twitch subs record of 326,252 and is now the most subscribed Twitch streamer for the second time.
Kai Cenat began his Mafiathon 2 event less than two months after his record was broken by Ironmouse. The streamer was determined to reclaim his spot as the number one subscribed Twitch streamer. Fans supported Kai Cenat and he started to get an influx of subs as soon as his subathon began. The streamer faced an issue with being swatted and banned on Twitch for approximately 6 minutes. However, this just made his drive stronger.
On November 12, 2024, Kai Cenat officially beat Ironmouse’s record of 326,252 subs. Kai Cenat became the most subscribed Twitch streamer for a second time. The streamer tweeted his gratitude and appreciation for the support fans showered on him. Kai Cenat’s new record is special for two reasons. Firstly, the speed at which he broke the vtuber’s record. In addition, his reclaiming the record once again makes both a first for Twitch subathons.
The vtuber Ironmouse also posted on the social platform X to congratulate Kai Cenat for breaking her record and reclaiming his spot as Twitch’s most subscribed streamer. Furthermore, Ironmouse stated that Kai Cenat might be able to hit 1,000,000 subs. The vtuber explained that this feat is possible because the streamer still has so many days left in his month-long subathon.
