Popular streamer Kai Cenat has announced the starting date of Mafiathon 2, an attempt to reclaim his spot as the most subscribed Twitch streamer of all time.
Subathons have become increasingly popular among streamers where they can show their popularity with the amount of subs they get. Kai Cenat was the most subscribed Twitch streamer of all time but on September 30, 2024, the VShojo vtuber Ironmouse dethroned him. Kai Cenat congratulated the Puerto Rican vtuber but also shared plans to overtake her with another subathon and reclaim his record. On October 30, 2024, Kai Cenat officially announced his Mafiathon 2 in a trailer featuring Kim Kardashian.

Kai Cenat’s Mafiathon 2 streaming marathon will begin on November 1, 2024, at 6 pm EST.
Kai Cenat’s Mafiathon 2 will last for one month, from November 1 to November 30. The streamer will try to beat the vtuber Ironmouse’s record to reclaim his throne. The first time he held a similar marathon was when he initially claimed the aforementioned title, so he may want to catch lightning in a bottle twice.
When Ironmouse broke Kai Cenat’s record the vtuber faced many trolls. Ironmouse was supported by streamers such as Ludwig and even Kai Cenat, who told everyone to back off. Kai Cenat also promised his fans that he’d break Ironmouse’s record and the next time fans see him is when the streaming event will start.
In the trailer, Kim Kardashian asked the streamer what Mafiathon 2 is, and Kai Cenat explained what he’ll do in the month-long streaming event.
Kai Cenat told Kim Kardashian that in his upcoming marathon, his viewers will see him eat, sleep, and shower on the stream. He further stated that in Mafiathon 1, which kicked off in February 2023, he streamed consecutively 24 hours a day for one whole month. The content creator didn’t specify everything that would be included in his Mafiathon 2.

However, he gave hints about special things in store by telling Kim Kardashian about his first streaming event. The streamer elaborated that in the first Mafiathon, there was a K9 unit in his bedroom. However, Kai Cenat said the best part of his first streaming event was the Ferris wheel in his driveway.
