Fortnite is no stranger to giving anyone and everyone an icon series skin. If there’s a famous person open to being in the game, it is highly likely that they will at one point or another. They often don’t have anything to do with the game itself, so for every Ninja skin, there’s also a Bruno Mars. The icon Series continues to grow, and a new leak suggests that one of the most popular streamers of all time is about to join the metaverse. The streamer may have also confirmed this news.

ShiinaBR, one of the most popular and renowned leakers covering Fortnite, initially posted that Kai Cenat is next in line for the Icon Series treatment. Cenat also posted the information, perhaps unintentionally, on his own X page. He revealed that there would be a huge announcement regarding the Fortnite Icon Series, which can literally only mean one thing, a new Fortnite skin.
Fortnite did hilariously quote his post and say it was leaked, but there was no getting around it once Cenat mentioned it himself. It came straight from the horse’s mouth, and therefore, it exited leak territory and entered announcement area.

Cenat has played plenty of games, although he’s far from a gaming streamer. He famously played Elden Ring, one of the longest and hardest games out there. He’s also played Fortnite from time to time, even facing off with another popular streamer, iShowSpeed, before.
The streamer has almost 14,000 active subscribers on Twitch. In November 2024, he set the Twitch record with a peak of 728,535 subscribers. He is easily one of the most popular people in the world. It’s not hard to see why Epic Games wanted to get him a skin.
Now, he joins a rather interesting and growing list of celebrities who are in the game. Ninja, The Weeknd, Chloe Kim, Patrick Mahomes, Marco Reus, LeBron James, Lewis Hamilton, J Balvin, Khaby Lame, Mr Beast, Ariana Grande, and Marshmello are also in the game in this series.
