On May 11, Rainbow Six Siege streamer Nicholas “Jynxzi” Stewart organized a League of Legends tournament among 40 streamers bringing together content creators of all levels.
From brand new beginners to challengers and former pro players, Jynxzi’s LoL tournament peaked at 908,068 simultaneous viewers, per Esports Charts, and eclipsed all Western League of Legends esports competition in viewership this year.
40 streamers competed under eight teams for this tournament. Eight team captains drafted from the pool, each getting one Challenger and another three players. In the end, these were the Jynxzi LoL tournament teams:
| Team | Top | Jungle | Mid | Bot | Support |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Team Ray | Kingsman | Sapnap | Ray | xQc | Alois |
| Team Zoil | Zoil | Ludwig | Arrow | Poke | Sneaky |
| Team Jynxzi | Russel | Jynxzi | Wiljum | Emiru | Dantes |
| Team LosPollos | Ohnepixel | erobb | LosPollos | Arky | Tyler1 |

| Team Marlon | Marlon | Greekgodx | Deji | CouRage | Doublelift |
| Team Yusuf | Yusuf | DisguisedToast | Mooda | Tarik | Moe |
| Team BurntPeanut | BurntPeanut | Sunny | Timmy | MrBeast | NoWay |
The event was a single-elimination bracket with a best-of-three final. Team Ray won the Jynxzi LoL tournament by beating Team Zoil 2-1.
The event reached a peak of 908,068 concurrent viewers, and 531,809 average viewers across 120 unique channels. With these numbers, the event:
Jynxzi’s LoL tournament has the fourth-highest peak viewership of any League of Legends event in 2026, behind the LCK Cup 2026 (1.5 million with T1 vs Dplus KIA), First Stand 2026 (1.5 million for G2 Esports vs Bilibili Gaming), and the LCK Round 1-2 2026 (1.2 million for T1 vs Hanwha Life Esports).
Riot Games helped the push by giving an emote and the legendary Inkshadow Master Yi skin as Twitch drops. Anyone watching the tournament for more than two hours would receive the skin. While this likely inflated the numbers, the drops and Riot’s coverage of the event got many people to check it out and stick around.

The LoL scene in North America has been on the decline for years now. With a dwindling viewership and playerbase, the interest for the game in the United States isn’t picking up.
By uniting the fanbases of 40 streamers, this tournament generated a lot of hype. Already, people are trying the game out after watching the event through one of their favorite streamers. Jynxzi also plans to keep playing League and will probably host more of this type of competition.
This takes place in the wake of AT&T’s ongoing Annihilator Cup. The telecommunication company also decided that hosting a tournament would return more benefits than simply sponsoring esports.
It’s also worth noting that this tournament featured a large majority of North American players. On the other hand, only 14 of the 41 LCS players are from NA. The LCS hosts 11 people from the United States, three from Canada, while 16 of its competitors are from South Korea. Putting forward figures from the region is also a way to strengthen the interest for League in the States.
