Weibo are the chaos agents of the LPL, making this match a pain to call. One day, they get stomped by Bilibili Gaming, and the next, they knock out the LPL favorites Anyone’s Legend. Weibo have a wealth of odd picks that they are not afraid to bring out to throw the opponents in for a loop. Furthermore, they have pulled off great Smites in their last match.
As for JDG, they thrive in teamfights. Of the three remaining teams, they are the best in that department. Weibo got the better of them in both regular season matches, but the JD Gaming that we have seen in the playoffs since their match against Anyone’s Legend are a different beast.
JD Gaming retains their macro weaknesses. Against Bilibili Gaming and Top Esports, poor sidelane management caused them to lose their grip on several games, including some they had a lead in. However, that wasn’t something Weibo Gaming particularly played around against Anyone’s Legend either.
The scary aspect of Weibo lies in their growth. JD Gaming improved over the course of the playoffs, but Weibo started as a squad whose members had barely played together before. Therefore, their synergy only goes up day after day.

Weibo are extremely inconsistent and that is the issue when picking them as the winner. To make matters worse, JD Gaming have been guilty of the same thing, albeit to a lesser extent. However, they have demonstrated a higher baseline in the recent weeks, and that’s what gives them the edge in this prediction. This match is definitely not a safe bet, though.
