Cake Chan is not new to the vtubing scene, as she has been around since the inception of Twitch. Cake Chan is an autistic female who doesn’t mask her disability but instead tries to support fellow streamers with autism in the community. The vtubing scene has seen a massive overhaul recently with the news of many popular vtubers like Kila Kurayami and Minato Aqua graduating, and fans are worried Cake Chan might leave for good as well.

Cake Chan says she wants to build a community where everyone can make jokes, but also have deeper and more meaningful conversations. However, she says she feels angry at the world and the current vtuber scene. She elaborates that she only feels safer and healthy by staying away.

Will Cake Chan be back from hiatus?

Cake Chan will come back from her hiatus depending on the community’s response to her absence.

Cake Chan has said that she is leaving for an indefinite amount of time and isn’t necessarily graduating. She referenced her one-and-a-half-year gap when she was away from the vtubing scene but returned with a healthier mind. She further elaborates that she feels very lonely without streaming, as she doesn’t go anywhere or do anything else. Streaming for her is a nice thing and she doesn’t want to leave but the toxic attitude of the community has forced her.

Cake Chan ends by saying that she hopes everyone can learn to be better so she can return soon. She says if things stay the same then she is hurting and has had enough, hinting at the possibility of her graduating.
