Is Sneako actually retiring from streaming?

Sneako ban

Nicolas “Sneako” Kenn De Balinthazy has announced he is retiring from streaming, but is he actually calling it quits?

Sneako, who currently streams on Rumble, announced during an October 1, 2024 stream that he was officially calling it quits once his contract with Rumble is up. He said that “big things are coming” and thanked his fans for following him on his journey from Twitch to YouTube to Rumble.

“I’m 26 and retiring!” he exclaimed.

Why is Sneako retiring from streaming?

Sneako’s fans were skeptical that the controversial streamer was truly going to retire from content creating. But Sneako confirmed that he is allegedly going to retire to focus on studying Arabic and “become a Sheik.”

Despite being banned from Twitch for two years despite never using the platform, Sneako has looked back on his career with fondness. He reminisced on his streaming career’s highlights, including “the Blueberry IRL streams” and the “N3on streams.” He also complimented Rumble for allowing him to have “free speech,” commending himself for continuing to find ways to stream despite getting banned from a long list of platforms.

“Shoutout to all the OGs, the day ones…” said Sneako.

Fans have continued to question Sneako’s claims. Was he truly leaving content creation behind to become a Sheik? Many speculated that he was just “crashing out” after consistently getting backlash for his harmful rhetoric while others felt it was simply cap and they were getting pranked.

It became even more confusing when Sneako ended his speech by acknowledging that he’s been allowed back on Twitch and that he’s also considering returning to Kick. He also wondered if he’d ever get his TikTok and Instagram back, which seems like an odd thing to wonder if you’re looking to become a Sheik.

Why was Sneako banned from Twitch?

Sneako was banned from YouTube in 2022 for harassment and told his fans to he was moving from Twitch soon after. At the time, he discussed the ban on the FreshandFit podcast.

“Most recently canceled man on the internet. They got me on Twitter, TikTok and now YouTube. They banned my main channel,” said Sneako.

Sneako told the incel podcast hosts that he “grew up on YouTube” so he was definitely disappointed to be booted from the platform he’s been using since he was 13. Luckily he backed all of his content up on Rumble.

Fans then claimed his Twitch ban soon after was ridiculous since he barely used the platform. Twitch never publicly stated what the reason was but it’s assumed it was over his red pill rhetoric, Andrew Tate support, and conspiratorial beliefs. Some people believed he was becoming harmful to young boys who could be easily manipulated by his streams.
