Fortnite is always adding new original skins, but the appearance of legendary Lakers player Kobe Bryant has fans confused.
Epic Games is famous for collaborating with famous IPs in its battle royale Fortnite. The Marvel season of Fortnite has just ended, and fans got to see many crossovers. They ranged from the highly popular Deadpool to the main villain of the season, Dr. Doom. Furthermore, the Fortnitemares Halloween event brought many new skins to the game. Epic tries to bring new popular and trendy collaborations to Fortnite for its fans.
Now, data miners have leaked more IPs that will come to Fortnite soon. These include deceased legends Kobe Bryant and Juice Wrld. and fans wonder how they’ll come to Fortnite.
According to leaks, NBA icon Kobe Bryant, rapper Juice Wrld, and also Snoop Dogg will be seen in Fortnite soon.
Epic Games tries to keep its collaborations a secret, but data miners usually leak upcoming collaborations before their official release. These new forthcoming skins are no different. Data miners leaked on the social platform X that Epic is adding Kobe Bryant, Juice Wrld, Snoop Dogg, Eminem, and Ice Spice to Fortnite.
The new Fortnite Remix Chapter 2 seems to be rapper-themed with the skins and songs it brings. Chapter 2 started with an Ice Spice and Snoop Dogg concert in Times Square New York. Meanwhile, Eminem is taking over the grotto with Mom’s Spaghetti. Players will also hear Crank That by Soulja Boy.
However, the two collaborations that have fans the most stoked are Kobe Bryant and Juice Wrld. While a Kobe Bryant skin isn’t coming to Fortnite, fans are appreciating how Epic Games is honoring the legend. A Snoop Dogg skin has leaked wearing a Lakers jersey with the deceased basketball player’s number “24.”
On the other hand, Epic Games is giving tribute to the late rapper Juice Wrld by showing his silhouette in the sky. Furthermore, Epic is also offering the Juice Wrld skin for free to players if they log in between a set duration. This is also been appreciated by fans as they note the gesture to honor the late rapper rather than focusing just on the monetary value of the skin.
