Popular Twitch streamer Sebastian “Forsen” Fors is grinding hard in League of Legends, but is he actually good?
Forsen boasts one of the more antagonistic fandoms in the Twitch space, which has no shortage of angry fans. The streamer’s deadpan reactions and exaggerated disdain for chat has cultivated a fandom based on memes at his expense. His recent streams around League of Legends continue the trend.
In April 2024, Forsen finally ranked in Dota 2, reaching Crusader 1. However, his interest in Dota 2 was short-lived, and he didn’t achieve much higher than Crusader before shifting over to League of Legends. After a week of grinding, some wonder if Forsen has anything to show for it.
Forsen is not very good at League of Legends.
Most of the top posts on the Forsen subreddit this month are focused on convincing him to stop playing League of Legends. One post made a meme claiming Riot Games created a new rank specifically for Forsen. The accompanying image was a fake social media post of “Wood Rank,” a denigration of Forsen’s skills being bad even by Iron standards.
Forsen’s current rank in League of Legends is Bronze 3, basically one step above the bottom rung of the ladder.
Experienced League of Legends players in Forsen’s chat regularly make fun of his gameplay, as he makes many easily avoidable mistakes. Some fans even claim he’s worse than the average League of Legends player.
Notably, Tyler “Tyler1” Steinkamp commented on Forsen’s League of Legends abilities. “Unwatchable. Go back to Minecraft,” stated Tyler1, who achieved Challenger across all five roles in League of Legends. Amusingly, Forsen immediately banned Tyler1 from his chat, unaware he was the actual Tyler1.
Tyler1’s impressive accomplishments in LoL certainly add some credibility to his criticisms of Forsen. Regardless, Forsen stubbornly continues his League of Legends grind, even as portions of his fanbase turn on him.
Forsen is not banned from League of Legends, but he did get a temporary suspension from ranked play for disruptive behavior.
He could still play League of Legends, but win or lose, he would not rank up further than he currently was. Right after, Forsen was also suspended from in-game chat for toxic behavior towards teammates. With negative fan reception and his lack of skill, Forsen may not stick with League of Legends for very long.
