Nijisanji is seeing a massive loss in talent in 2024 with popular vtubers such as Hex Haywire and Kunai Nakasato graduating. While Hex announced and graduated in the same month, Kunai announced her graduation after a long hiatus. The graduation announcement shocked her fans who requested the vtuber to continue streaming.

It looks like Kunai listened to her fans as she took to X to announce something. The news was announced one day after her graduation from Nijisanji. However, since the Kunai Nakasato account was disabled, the news came from the SunnySplosion account, and fans wonder whether Kunai Nakasato is returning.

Kunai Nakasato is returning to streaming as SunnySplosion

The vtuber Kunai Nakasato is returning to her past persona SunnySplosion to continue streaming for her fans.

The ex-vtuber Kunai Nakasato tweeted on X to announce that she is returning to streaming after she graduated from Nijisanji. This isn’t an uncommon move, as other vtubers have graduated from agencies to go independent. One example is the ex-Nijisanji vtuber Suzuya Aki who returned as independent vtuber Izuho Omi.

The vtuber shared on the SunnySplosion account that she will return to streaming in October with her previous persona which she used before she joined Nijisanji. The streamer Sunny made content playing League of Legends with other popular creators such as Nickyboi and DarkkMane.

When Sunny joined Nijisanji, the SunnySplosion persona disappeared and Kunai Nakasato was born. Many fans questioned where the streamer went and now they’ll be happy to know after Kunai’s graduation Sunny has returned.
