Valorant fans are pumped for Cloud9’s VCT 2025 season after rumors of a new roster featuring Jay “sinatraa” Won appeared online.
Cloud9 didn’t have the greatest 2024 season, with the Valorant team already done for the year after not making it to Champions Seoul. Now it looks like the iconic esports org could be planning some big changes ahead of the 2025 season and fans really feel like this could be its year thanks to some of the new picks.
Here is the current Cloud9 Valorant team, but all of these players have allegedly been dropped if rumors are to be believed.
Cloud9 has not confirmed the signing of sinatraa to it’s Valorant roster, but there are several hints at a future announcement.
sinatraa first came onto the esports scene as a controversial and talented Overwatch League player. He won the OWL in 2019 while playing for San Francisco Shock. But he was also known for his cocky attitude and toxicity, leaving fans torn.
He became a streamer for Sentinels after, playing Overwatch and Valorant. But near the start of his pro Valorant career, the FPS star was banned from Riot events over sexual assault allegations that were investigated by Riot Games and Sentinels. Ever since, fans have been waiting for Sinatraa’s return.
A rumor started on X that sinatraa could be part of a new Cloud9 team that includes the following players.
Some of these players were very believable, including the players that were free agents like PROD and talented players like Marved. But others were a bit more questionable, including Zombs, who has been retired for a few years. Despite some of the concerns, Valorant fans expressed excitement for the possibility. Many believed that sinatraa would turn the team around in 2025.
It seems like the rumor began with sinatraa and the other aforementioned players competing together under the name UB in some Valorant tournaments.
But is Cloud9 actually signing sinatraa’s team? The organization has not confirmed any roster changes just yet, so hopeful fans will have to wait and see if the controversial king of FPS will make his return.
