Unlike the McRib being available year-round, could the dream of a Fortnite X Deadpool collab be coming true?
Fans have long been asking to see Deadpool items within the game. Marvel regularly features as a collaborator in Fortnite, with recent crossovers including Wastelander Magneto in Chapter 5 Season 3. Deadpool, however, has remained elusive despite his status as an overwhelming fan favorite.
With the Deadpool & Wolverine film coming out in theatres on July 26, will Deadpool and his partner in crime also be making a timely appearance in Fortnite?
Basic Idea of what a STW x Deadpool crossover would look like! (A little late)

Deadpool stars have been spotted with known Fortnite content creators, leading many to speculate that a collab is coming.
Known Fortnite leaker and Epic Games partner ShiinaBR revealed two images on X hinting at a collab. First is art of Deadpool reading a Fortnite magazine. Second is a picture of Hugh Jackman and Ryan Reynolds in a hotel room with a Fortnite content creator.
Why else could such big stars be taking time out of their busy press tour if not to hint at a new Fortnite X Deadpool collab? We doubt it’s to discuss their favorite drop spots.
There have been Wolverine and Deadpool skins and items before, but many want updated content for a prospective Fortnite X Deadpool event.
Deadpool last dropped in April 2020 as part of a battle pass, where players could get skins with and without the mask and his katanas. His gear bundle last featured almost five months ago with two emotes, a backbling, and a Dragacorn glider.
Meanwhile, Wolverine has had both a Earth-616 and Zero Day skin in Fortnite. The former is part of a full Wolverine set released in August 2020 and includes adamantium claws and a trophy. Zero Day Wolverine comes from August 2022. His skin is tied in with Spider-Man Zero, Iron Man Zero, and a plethora of other goodies.
Given the upcoming release date of Deadpool & Wolverine, film-themed skins and weapons would probably make fans happy across the board. The only thing better than a chimichanga and a movie on July 26th would be confirmation of a Fortnite X Deadpool collab.
