On April 30, Ninjisanji tweeted the announcement that Ike Eveland is graduating effectively immediately.

Ike Eveland listed several reasons for his surprise announcement of graduating from Nijisanji and claims mental health is a significant factor.

The vtuber had been inactive in the past month and didn’t explain his absence until now. He apologized to his fans and claimed he had been going through a tough time recently while failing to address or communicate those issues publicly.

While the content creator listed mental health as a significant contributing factor, he said he now understands that he must take the issue more seriously. He also stated that he wasn’t transparent about his issues and failed to fulfill his responsibilities as a result. Ike Eveland went on to say that he has decided to “step away from the online space for good.”

He reiterated that he didn’t take the decision lightly but has thought about it deeply before coming to this conclusion. Ike Eveland thanked fans for their constant support and Nijisanji for the kindness the agency had shown him over the years.

Fans have noticed the vtuber’s YouTube channel has already been purged and the timing of that aligns with Nijisanji’s announcement. The agency’s tweet states the deactivation of Ike Eveland will be on the same day as his graduation but that he will continue to receive fan mail until May 30.
