IEM Kraków is one of the most prestigious events in the current Counter-Strike 2 tournament landscape, following in the footsteps of its predecessor, IEM Katowice.
With all the best CS2 teams in attendance, IEM Kraków is a true spectacle for Counter-Strike fans all over the world, and a dream to win for all of the best CS2 players.
The first iteration of the event certainly delivered, with Vitality being the first, and definitely not the last, to lift the IEM Kraków trophy in the Tauron Arena.

Roster
Vitality claimed the title at the first-ever IEM Kraków event, beating FURIA 3-1 in the Grand Final.
The Bees were the previous IEM Katowice winners and the CS2 betting favorites coming into the tournament. Despite the pressure on their shoulders, they managed to withstand it, get the job done, and claim the title by dropping only a single map along the way.
The playoffs saw a historic performance from Mathieu “ZywOo” Herbaut, who destroyed the opposition every time he joined the server.
Vitality’s in-game leader, Dan “apEX” Madesclaire, stated in our IEM Kraków winners interview that he had never seen such dominance from the sniper.
Lifting the IEM Kraków 2026 trophy further solidified the Vitality era, with it being their 10th S-Tier title since the start of 2025.
After the victory, they are became ESL event win away from claiming their second Grand Slam – a feat no other team has managed.
If there’s any team that’s going to do it, it’s Vitality.
