ESL has announced that the upcoming final RMR event, IEM Fall, will be played on the latest patch of CS:GO.
IEM Fall is set to kick off just a couple of days after the release of the latest CS:GO update, which saw changes to Dust II, Ancient, and changes to several guns in the game. But most importantly, players are now able to drop grenades to their teammates.
Regarding the recent @CSGO updates at #IEM Fall:
As a Valve-sanctioned tournament, #IEM Fall will run on the latest version of CS:GO. Dropping utility, the updated versions of Dust2 and Ancient and all other changes made by the latest updates will be in effect.

The pros will only have a couple of days to get used to the new mechanics in the game. IEM Fall is the final RMR event, where the teams for the upcoming Major event will be decided. The European part of the event will be played in a studio environment in Stockholm, with the other regions playing online.
