How to play after the Fortnite time limit

Black Cat and Sabretooth Meowscles

Fortnite has added a new time limit feature that parents and guardians can enable to limit play time, but there are a few methods players can use to get around the limit.

The time limit settings are a new feature that can be enabled on a Fortnite account to limit the play time that a user has during certain days and certain hours. This feature was designed to allow parents and guardians to monitor how much time is being spent on Fortnite by their children as well as limit the amount of time that can be played daily through the settings.

Getting around the Fortnite time limit can be challenging, but there are some ways to get more time to play.

Is the Fortnite time limit linked to accounts?

The time limit for Fortnite is connected to the account itself, so there are some ways to get around it.

One way to play after the limit is simply asking a parent for more time. Players are able to go into settings once they get a pop-up that they have met their time limit for the day and request more time to play. From there, a parent or guardian can either grant or deny the request. With the time lock linked to the Fortnite account itself, it will be in effect across consoles. However, there are still a handful of ways that players can dodge the time limit feature.

Fortnite Season 1 skins

Some ways to play after the Fortnite time limit is by accessing the parental settings and changing it. If a player can sneak in, they can theoretically remove the time limit all together. Players could also access the parent or guardian’s email to keep granting more time. Another method could be creating a brand new account altogether. Players will then be able to play across consoles without any problem. However, they will have to switch accounts each time, losing access to their precious skins.

Keep in mind that dodging the Fortnite time limit to play more could lead to real consequences, such as losing access to the game altogether. Only attempt these if you want to risk losing out on the game entirely.
