The PBE is a “cool kid club” for Valorant, and anyone in North America can join the exclusive group.
Valorant PBE is Riot’s way of testing an update one last time before releasing it globally. After going through several stages of testing, a wider player base tries out the upcoming content to ensure everything is working as intended. This phase is for selected players, but applications are open to all. All Valorant players can apply to be a part of PBE, but Riot vets the applications based on certain criteria.
However, players looking to enter the Valorant PBE need more than just a simple application.
Here’s how players can apply to join the Valorant PBE.
Once players get approved, Riot will inform them via email and onboard for PBE testing. It’s worth noting that players don’t need a separate account for PBE, but they’ll need to download a client. The login details will remain the same, which also means all bans on the main account will be reflected on the PBE build as well.
Although PBE access is limited, Riot urges all Valorant player to try to join. Still, it’s important to review the Valorant PBE criteria to gauge one’s chances of being accepted.
If players fulfill the criteria, they should be good to apply for PBE. However, applying doesn’t warrant an entry into the program. Riot selects only a few individuals who are best suited to test the upcoming content.
For this reason, players are encouraged to showcase good behavior in-game. Players may bag a Riot gun buddy while they’re at it.
