Peer-to-peer gaming-focused voice and messaging service Discord has rolled out a brand new recap feature, Discord Checkpoint, summarizing its user’s habits on the app.
Discord revealed the new recap, similar to Spotify’s incredibly popular Wrapped feature, on Dec. 4, rolling it out globally for users on desktop and mobile. Here’s the details, how to use it, and more.

Discord’s Recap feature reveals exactly how much time you’ve spent talking, typing, and chatting across the service in 2025. From finding out how many emotes you’ve typed, to how many hours you’ve spent in voice chats, Discord is letting you know.
The feature started rolling out on Dec. 4, but according to Discord, it could take a few days for it to hit every user.
Here’s how to get your Discord Checkpoint recap:
If you’re struggling to find the Checkpoint, try updating Discord or restarting your device. Your PC or mobile will need to be updated to the latest version to work.

Once you’ve seen your Checkpoint, you’ll also be given one of ten unique Checkpoint cards, which come with an avatar border that can be used until Jan. 15, 2026.
While this feature is definitely nice, it’s also a little mortifying. As someone who uses Discord for work, interviews, communication, and gaming, finding out you’ve spent roughly 5% of the entire year in voice calls can be a little shocking.
Still, in an era where the apps we use record every aspect and detail of how we use them, it’s nice we get something in return. Even if that data is likely being used to figure out how to make us use Discord even more than we usually do.
