Viego gets the honor getting the Worlds 2024 skin in League of Legends, and it looks as gorgeous as expected.
Riot has begun the hype train for League of Legends Worlds 2024. The company kicked things off with the latest Worlds 2024 skin, Viego. Those lucky champions who get a Worlds skin often have aesthetics tied to that year’s theme. While Riot has not officially announced the song for Worlds 2024 yet, fans already have their theories.
Many speculate that the anthem for Worlds 2024 will come from Linkin Park. As for what the song will be about, the skin supports the speculations about the theme through his new look, an icy blue monarch looking down on his foes.
League of Legends players must be among the 5,000 highest-ranked scores in global leaderboards for Pick’em or Crystal Ball to get the Viego Worlds 2024 skin for free.
Alternatively, players can purchase the Worlds Unlocked 2024 Collector’s Edition for $99. Just like every year, the Worlds skin will only be rewarded to the best players. However, a rank of 5,000 or higher does give players more opportunities to obtain the skin for free alongside Viego himself if the player hasn’t unlocked them yet. For completionists and collectors who don’t have the time for ranked play, they can simply pay their way to the skin.
The Worlds Unlocked 2024 Collector’s Edition also contains the following items.
The release date of the Worlds 2024 Viego skin will be September 25, 2024 along with patch 14.19.
The frosty blue skin launches hot after the heels of the Worlds Anthem debut. Most fans love the new look, and jokingly praised Riot for making it “affordable.” Given the ludicrously priced $500 skin for Lee “Faker” Sang-hyeok Ahri, $99 with a bunch of other stuff looked downright charitable for most fans.
