Those looking to earn more XP or rewards in Fortnite may want to look into playing in or creating their own bot lobbies.
Bot lobbies in multiplayer online games have a number of different uses. Primarily, they provide an area for new players to learn how the game works and practice any needed skills. However, other users looking to farm experience or complete challenges may find the easier “player” base helpful. With the return of Chapter 2 in November and new changes to the battle pass system, there are a whole slew of new rewards available.
Here’s how to get bot lobbies in Fortnite even after becoming an experienced player.
One of the easiest ways to get a bot lobby in Fortnite is by making a secondary account to play with simultaneously.
As mentioned above, newer players and accounts are more likely to get bot lobbies to test out the game. Although too many repeated new accounts can lead to suspension, current users can make a secondary account to team up with for easier matches.
It’s crucial to make sure the secondary account doesn’t hit or surpass level 30. At higher levels, Fortnite will stop treating it as a new account. Then, the system will push both it and the regular player back into lobbies with real people. On the secondary account, players should leave the match at the earliest possible time.
Players can also add any random bot to their friend list and invite it as the leader to the lobby. This may take more time and searching, however, as well as the need to repeatedly find a new bot if the level gets too high. In the end, it’s easier for one to make their own bot account.
For players in regions where Fortnite is less popular, even daytime lobbies are routinely full of bots.
While Fortnite is incredibly popular in the United States, other regions have way smaller player bases. This means that more bots are needed to ensure that real players have enough “people” to play the game. Though not guaranteed to always work, international players who use VPNs to game in these less populated areas will often get placed into bot lobbies automatically.
Whatever way Fortnite players decide to use, they shouldn’t have too much trouble getting into a bot lobby. They should make sure to enjoy the ease of completing quests and getting whatever top-tier reward is waiting at the end of the battle pass.
