Fortnitemares 2024 is bringing many new skins and items but maybe one of the most interesting is the Jigsaw’s challenge and fans might wonder what it is and how to start it.
Epic Games’ battle royal Fortnite is famous for its annual Halloween event, Fortnitemares. Fortnite’s 2024 Halloween update is here and it brings many new collaborations. While many popular IPs were rumored to be coming, like Jason from Friday the 13th, they were either disproved or didn’t pan out. However, one crossover that was both rumored and proved to be true is Fortnite x Saw.
Fans will see multiple new skins in the Fortnitemares 2024, varying from Disney villains to Leatherface. However, something new that might interest fans is Fortnite’s Saw crossover addition, Jigsaw’s challenge. The unique event brings multiple rewards that players can unlock by completing the challenge.

Fortnite players can start Jigsaw’s challenge by interacting with the Billy the Puppet TVs across the island.
Jigsaw’s challenge will pit players against other players in Epic’s battle royale. Essentially making them the puppet of the master of Billy the Puppet. TVs found around the map show Billy the Puppet on their screen. Players can begin the challenge by approaching one of the TV monitors.
Similar to how Jigsaw uses Billy the Puppet to test subjects, Fortnite players will be set against each other to see who is the best. Once a player approaches a TV monitor, Jigsaw will challenge them to duel another Fortnite player in front of another TV monitor on the island.
Both Fortnite players competing in Jigsaw’s challenge will wear an explosive Billy-inspired mask. The duelists will be given a set amount of time to defeat the opponent or the mask will explode. The objective of the challenge is to defeat the target before the timer runs out.
If the player or their squad defeats the opponent. then they will unlock the rewards of Jigsaw’s challenge. Successfully eliminating the target will complete Jigsaw’s Fortnite challenge. In addition, players will unlock Boom Billy, the unvaulted Witch Broom, and other loot.
