How to get a refund on skins in Valorant

Valorant might require good aim, placement, and map awareness, but getting a refund is simple and straightforward.

Everyone purchases something they regret later. Buyer’s remorse is especially strong with pricey in-game items. Thankfully, players won’t have to live with the item forever and can quickly get a Valorant refund. However, like every company, Riot Games also has a refund policy for Valorant to avoid refund abuse. The biggest caveat is that the item being refunded must have been purchased within the last 14 days. This condition applies to all items and also to Valorant points as long as they are not used at all.

Here’s how to get a refund in Valorant and what it does and doesn’t apply to.

Get a Valorant refund

The first step is to determine what item needs to be refunded. The process for refunds for VP and in-game items is slightly different but equally easy.

Log into your Valorant account
Go to the official Valorant’s submit request page
Generate a new support ticket
Once there, select the Billing, Payment, and Cash Refunds option from the drop-down menu
Select the platform where you purchased the VP
Enter a subject, it could be as simple as “VP refund”
Now, give a little description of why you need the refund, any valid reason would be acceptable
Attach any relevant screenshots if needed
Finally, press Submit to send a refund request
Riot Games usually processes refunds quickly, but it can take a couple of working days for the funds to appear in your attached account

Log in to your Valorant account
Scroll down until you see the Get My Order History button
Press it, and a list of eligible items will appear
Scroll to the weapon skin you want to refund and press refund

What can’t be refunded in Valorant?

Only unused in-game items and unspent VP purchased during the last 14 days can be refunded. If players have loaded a game with the weapon skin, it’s considered used and can’t be refunded. Any match or game mode counts, even custom games and practice. Here’s what played can’t refund in Valorant.
