How to find and complete all Shadow Briefings in Fortnite

While the main goal of Fortnite is always to be the last squad standing, there are tons of challenges and activities players can do around the map, and Shadow Briefings are the newest fun sidequest.

In Fortnite’s lore, Shadow is a spy and military faction that’s part of Midas’ crew along with the Ghost faction. Shadow has left briefings in terminals found around the map. Interacting with these briefings will give players the choice of accepting a timed challenge in exchange for a reward. There are three types of Shadow Briefings with Plunder, Supply Drop, and Armory. More types were vaulted ahead of the current season.

Where to find Shadow Briefings in Fortnite

Fortnite players can find Shadow Briefings in terminals scattered throughout the map. These locations are predetermined and should be the same throughout the season unless there’s an update that impacts them. Right now, here’s where to find them.

When a player gets near a Shadow Briefing location, an icon appears on the map. Sometimes the above locations don’t have a briefing, so head to another preset location nearby.

How to complete Shadow Briefings

Players can completely Shadow Briefing based on the type of mission they are. All players need to do is approach the terminal and follow the prompt. When gamers take on the challenge, the briefing will show at the top of the screen along with a countdown. Only one Shadow Briefing can be selected at a time, so start attempting it ASAP before the time runs out and fails.

There are three types of briefings to complete within a time limit.

Plunder: Spawns two buried Rare chests nearby the terminal. Find them, then dig them up. Then, search or break open the chests all within five minutes.
Supply Drop: A supply drop is called in nearby. Search the Supply Drop and find the rewards before five minutes is up.
Armory: There are two types of Armory briefings. One grants players an Uncommon Shotgun, which will be used to damage enemies while hip-firing. The other grants players with an Uncommon Pistol or SMG, prompting them to get headshots to earn bars, both within five minutes.
