How the rumored Figment mode may save Fortnite OG

Fortnite Figment mode

According to leaks, Epic Games is adding a new Figment mode which might be a permanent way to play Fortnite OG.

On November 2, 2024, Epic Games released Fortnite Remix OG Chapter 2. Fans were pleasantly surprised to see the new mythics it brought. The rapper-themed update has Snoop Dogg and Eminem, but fans were especially happy to see Kobe Bryant and Juice Wrld being honored in Fortnite. It’s common for Epic to bring new IPs as part of updates for its fans, but now there is news that Fortnite is getting a new in-game mode.

The upcoming Figment mode might make the Fortnite OG a permanent model, and fans want to know more.

What is Figment mode in Fortnite?

According to leaks, the upcoming Figment mode will likely make Fortnite OG a permanent in-game mode.

Several data miners have leaked information about the upcoming Figmemt mode on the social platform X. Epic Games has not officially confirmed the exact details of the new mode. However, the leakers have managed to provide some mined information.

According to data miner Wenso, the upcoming Figment mode contains a loot pool similar to Fortnite Chapter 1 Season 1. Furthermore, the forthcoming mode supports up to 100 players and has solos, duos, and squads, which includes zero build. From the leaked information, Epic Games is likely planning to make Fortnite OG an in-game mode.

Moreover, the data miners claim that Fortnite’s Figment mode isn’t a limited-time mode. They allege that the new mode will likely be permanent in the battle royale.  If this is true then players will be able to revisit Chapter 1 Season 1 and try out the nostalgic gameplay of Fortnite’s earlier season.

There is no confirmation about when this new Figment mode will be released. However, many people are guessing that it will be released in the next season of Fortnite. The next season containing the new mode is a possibility because the update is claimed to be large in terms of required storage space.

If Fortnite’s Figment mode is planned for the next season, then Epic Games will likely announce it soon. Fans might not have to wait too long for an official confirmation and more news about the upcoming battle royale mode.

As Figment mode stirs excitement, find out why fans are still hesitant about Fortnite OG Chapter 2, with questions about its authenticity and nostalgia factor.
