How the fuck did balloons win the vote?

Shield Bubbles were something that – as soon as it returned to Fortnite – fit perfectly into the Zero Build meta.

It was such a good fit that many players claimed that it should have been added to the mode from the start.

This seemed to be the overwhelming consensus in my world, so you can imagine my surprise when I woke up this morning and saw that balloons won the community vote.

The Balloons won the funding vote and are now unvaulted after winning by a margin of more than 40%!

Balloons? Really? The Dollar Store Jetpacks beat the best cover teat Zero Build has seen?

To be honest, I don’t really care too much about either item and didn’t vote in this one. I just assumed that the community was on the same page.

That’s what you get when you trust the Fortnite community to vote on something.
