Heroic book Legends spot, send Movistar Riders home

Heroic has secured their spot in the legends stage by winning the decider match against Movistar Riders.

Movistar surprisingly decided to ban Dust II, a map Heroic perma-bans themselves, and opt into Inferno. The pick didn’t work out, as Heroic wiped them off the server. A quick 16-7 followed.

Going into Overpass, Heroic seemed set to close out the series with relative ease, as they won the first half playing from the less favored T-side. But Movistar flipped the momentum and pushed Heroic to thirty rounds in an entertaining back-and-forth. But the Danes held their nerves, eventually closing out the map and series in a 16-14 fashion.

Movistar is now eliminated from the PGL Stockholm Major, ended their event with a 2-3 record.
