While fans were sad that they wouldn’t see Henya stream, they wished her a speedy recovery. Fortunately for her fans, Henya announced her return to streaming on October 11, 2024, and began streaming again on October 12, 2024. The vtuber has since been actively creating content and streaming for her viewers. On November 3, 2024, Henya the Genius announced in a tweet that she is joining United Talent Agency, which other vtubers such as Ironmouse are also a part of.

On the same day, Henya the Genius also debuted a new model that she had previously announced on October 31, 2024.

Henya the Genius’ new kung fu model

The vtuber Henya the Genius debuted her new kung fu model in a live stream on Twitch on November 3, 2024.

Henya’s new model is influenced by Chinese martial arts. The vtuber even claimed in her model debut stream that it is her “kung fu” model. During the stream, Henya displayed that she has removable sunglasses and footwear.

The vtuber also showcased the face toggles of her new model. She can blush, and her face can also change color if she is angry. Furthermore, Henya’s eyes also change according to her mood. For instance, if she is confused her eyes look dazed and hearts appear in her eyes if she’s expressing love.

The vtuber stated the new model was inspired by fan art. In addition, she also shared some guesses made by her fans about how the model will look. In the first fan-made model she displayed a doodle a fan made while they were at work, to which the vtuber reacted with a laugh.

The second fan-made model Henya displayed turned her face into a watermelon. The tweet containing it had the caption “She wanted to be a watermelon.” The vtuber enjoyed showing off the guesses of her fans before she displayed her new model, which fans praised.
